Creative wellbeing workshops for autistic and similarly neurodivergent people without learning (intellectual) disability, in person and online sessions, funded through Croydon Council’s Croydon Loves You scheme.
Imagine an island of your own – a personal eco-system of your likes, wants and needs – what would it be like?
We are hosting a series of ‘Chill, Chat, Create’ sessions in September and October for autistic, AuDHD and ADHD people and those with similar neurodivergences, like dyslexia and dyspraxia. You do not need a formal diagnosis; self-diagnosis or ‘still working it out’ is always acceptable in our spaces.
Our friendly and inclusive sessions are led by autistic and AuDHD artists and creatives; we are queer- and trans-affirming and anti-racist. You do not need any creative experience, come as you are, it’s a relaxed shared space to enjoy however suits you.
Do as much or as little as you want: create your island, in words, pictures or both, or hang out with us and other neurodivergent people and enjoy the conversation.
Whether you are an experienced artist or a complete beginner, whether you prefer words and poetry or maybe stickmen and a bit of collage, our resource pack of prompts and suggested activities will help you. There will be optional group activities.
If you choose, you can add your island to our shared archipelago of special interests, ideal environments and joy.
