Quiet Space
Come as you are; it’s a relaxed shared space to enjoy however it suits you.
Dress for comfort, not to impress: whether that’s a onesie or a tiara (or something else), bring stim toys or handhelds, and whatever else you need to feel comfortable for an afternoon with friends.
Halfway between Christmas and New Year’s, our xmas escape is meant to be just that: you are welcome to come along and chill quietly in a safe, low-duress, and accepting space without the hetero- and neuronormative pressures of this time of year. All of our activities are optional and you will not be pressured to join in.
Please note that this event is for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ young adults without learning (intellectual) disability and low support needs only. It is not suitable for young adults who are not able to attend independently of a parent or carer. Minimum age: 16+

What do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything, other than the things that make you feel comfortable. Please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks but strictly no nuts or seeds. All art materials will be provided.
Accessibility
We always endeavour to support those who prefer to communicate digitally at in-person events via text messaging. Please let us know your access needs when booking your ticket.
Turf Projects is centrally located in the Whitgift Centre in Croydon with many public transport options.
Unfortunately there is no accessible toilet on the ground floor where our activities will take place, however there is a lift just outside that can be used to access the first floor toilet without having to use the stairs.
